Use the Interactive Knitting Program
With the correct cable, interactive knitting can be used with almost any knitting machine.
With each pass of the carriage, the Interactive Knitting Instructions advance row by row.
If stitch patterns and garment pieces are integrated, instruction for both are included.
Even manual machines can be used this way.
All of the patterning instruction is included with DAK. The cable just sends a signal to DAK to advance to the next row.

Download to your knitting machine
Stitch patterns can be downloaded to electronic knitting machines in 2 ways.
Create a Stitch pattern in DesignaKnit:

machines and PPD, Silver Reed PE1 and PC10 pattern devices and the Passap consoles:
Transfer the instructions to the machine. The Stitch patterning device in the machine will select needles creating the stitch pattern - SilverLink 5:
This external device connects Silver Reed and certain Knitmaster machines. This device has it's own processor and memory (like those built-in to other machines).
Based on your DAK stitch pattern, the SilverLink will select needles for stitch patterning

- Create a stitch pattern that equals a multiple of 24 (for 24 stitch punchcards)

- Select a punchcard machine

- Use: >Print > Stitch Pattern Template format
