Copy and Paste with Custom Sizing
As you work with custom sizing you'll see a number of references to copy and paste. Sizing tables, custom or standard, are a collection of data that either you entered or DAK calculated. That data is used to create your knitting instructions.
The copy and paste functionality can be used:
- Advanced users can take this data and use it outside of DesignaKnit. (spreadsheet)
- Body measurements can be copied between two garments
For most users, we will work within Designaknit. If we need to copy data between garments, it can be easily done manually.
Detailed uses of this feature are outside the scope of this course.

DAK 9 update
In DesignaKnit 9, all four ease tables (Zero, Classic, Casual, and Oversize) have had a slight adjustment.
There is no longer any ease on the shoulder-to-shoulder measurement.
Remember, ease can always be altered manually.
