When selecting an image to convert:
PUNCHCARDS
If you are struggling with the conversion of a punchcard, sometimes it's easier to just draw the stitch pattern in Stitch Designer.
Analyze the design and look for repeats. You might not have to draw the entire card.
For example, why convert this entire card? Drawing the 4x4 repeat is so much easier.

- The image should be clear with good contrast
- If you like, crop and edit the image before importing it into Graphics Studio
- Be sure to know your knitting gauge before starting
- Establish the size of the knitted piece
- The colors you choose in Graphics Studio don't have to be perfect, they probably won't match your yarn colors, but getting them close will help you fine-tune the stitch pattern
