Converting Other Stitch Types
Graphics Studio can be used for more than just photos and double bed jacquard.
Remember we are taking an image and converting it to stitches and rows. As we import the newly "translated" data into Stitch Designer, we tell it what technique we are going to use.
Stitch Designer will then "translate" the design even further, for example creating separations for jacquard.

For intarsia designs, follow the conversion logic in Graphics Studio to convert your design.
- Enter the gauge you'll be knitting
- Determine the size of the image based on your garment
- Convert the image to the number of colors you'll be knitting
- In Stitch Designer choose "intarsia" as the knitting method
- Use Interactive knitting to follow the color changes

Use the "Check the pattern for errors" Check for Errors Tool and make changes in Stitch Designer as needed. Sometimes just a few stitches convert causing this error. You can edit them in Stitch Designer.
This warning may also alert you to the fact that this converted stitch pattern isn't appropriate for fairisle.
