We saw a ready-to-wear vest in a high-end department store. It was knit side-to-side and had beautiful rounded hems on the fronts

Armed with a quick (and sloppy) sketch and a few measurements from the original, let's walk through creating this design in Designaknit.

• Use Standard Garment shaping as a shortcut
• Create the rounded corners in Original Pattern Drafting
• Eliminate the side seams (make it one piece)
• Rotate the piece for sideways knitting
