What DesignaKnit is

DesignaKnit is design and pattern software made for knitters. It helps you create your own stitch patterns, shape garments to real measurements, and (with an optional cable link to supported machines) guides you stitch-by-stitch as you knit.

You can use all of the design and pattern tools without ever connecting to a machine. A cable connection is only needed for Interactive Knitting, the visual row-by-row knitting guide.

Where to start

Want well-fitting garments without the math? Start with Standard Garment Styling — enter your measurements and gauge and it calculates the shaping for you.
Want to create your own stitch patterns? Stitch Designer gives you a visual workspace to draw and edit patterns.
Prefer to knit visually? Interactive Knitting shows you what to do, row by row, instead of reading written instructions.
